  • Is there anyplace we can find the detailed descriptions of all the past plug-ins?

Looks like that description is given for only the most recent one.
  • Not yet. Someone else was asking for this a while ago too. For now, perhaps I can update this thread with all the info.

  • hey nick. think it would be great to have a flip h strobe and a flip v strobe. can this be done>?
  • and also with ur bad tv switch. can u make another one where ur still just a bit past the 50 percent marker of the crossfader. that it will stop the effect of the bad tv?
  • i like the idea of the comic call. can u add boxes to it like a comic book?
  • can we also have a flip strips h strobe as well...
  • and on the slide strips v. when the crossfader is in the middle..

is there a way to keep the videos moving ? that way they are not in the same place. they just constantly move untill the crossfader is all the way over...
  • I can't really imagine what you mean by a Flip H/V strobe transition.

For the Bad TV - sounds interesting - will consider it.

Regarding "Comic Boxes" - I've been thinking of something similar - will have to see how well it works.

And for Slide Strips V - I guess what you're after is some sort of effect that looks like a slot machine.
  • i think with the comic book effect. it would be nice to have it strobe like the 3x3 sequencer. make the comic book boxes move around. like its alive ?
  • in the flip h and flip v. the screen will keep moving/turing around untill the fader is all the way over...
  • most of the time i will have the fader in the middle untill im done with the mix. so that might be 18-36 seconds of no video with the flip or v transition..
  • it would like the spinning cube..
  • sorry i havent gone thru the effects or transitions in a while(but im getting ready for this new club) but i noticed with with brightness that u can make the screen go white. is there a way assign a midi button to just make the screen flash white. like maybe a strobe light effect. so basically when we hit the button the output screen goes white?
  • You could set up the effect so that the screen is white, then map a MIDI button to the wet/dry mix. When you push the button it will toggle the wet/dry mix of effect between 0 and 100%.
  • thats true. didnt think about that.
  • also. can u make transition with the cube rotate effect?
  • Nick, who develop this plugin? is that you?
  • Yes - I develop the plug-ins.
  • Hey Nick,

Video Effect Request: Anaglyph aka 3D

    Thanks
    Deejay Callen
  • Yeah - could do that. It would only look as though the 2d image was moving forward/backward though, as it could never automatically recreate the 3d scene.
  • Just looking for something similar to the one in VSL. Want to do a 3D glasses night.
  • hey nick
can we get some transtions like in ths mixed video

u see how the videos turn around. i would like to see something like that. but soemthing that keeps spinning around when ur in the middle of the crossfader...

    check out 3:04 to 3:10
    http://www.vdjbig.com/big/sc.html
  • Yeah - I guess so. It's not that different to the Spinning Cube plug-ins (i.e. it's basically a cube but with the sides shifted outwards).
  • it's almost like the one i was telling u about nick...just with out 4 screens just the 2..one for each channel
  • it's short but 3:08 to 3:10 how one screen is floating over the other one...can u dig it
  • i like it. but i think the background should be black...
  • Yeah, Thats a dope transition above!

Loving your work Nick! The quality of ME is awesome! Don't know why it took me so long to buy it!

    Cant wait for 1.6 :)

    Cheers!
  • 3:23 to 3:26 has another nice transition :)

    http://www.vdjbig.com/big/sc.html

Do you know what program is he using Henry? :)
  • thats kinda like the spinning cube... but no it might be soemthign inside of final cut pro
