MIDI controlling effect select, stops at 'Bump' FX

edited May 2016 in MixEmergency
I've assigned 2 buttons to choose an effect for channel 1 (and 2 more buttons for channel 2), using the Mode Increment for 1 button, and Mode decrement for the second button.

For some reason, when I increment 'up' it stops at the 'Bump' FX and I can't work out why. Please assist

  • Can you upload a screenshot of the list? Or perhaps better describe where 'Bump' is in the list (e.g. are there 6 effects above it, and 6 below it)?
  • Great thanks. It's very odd that it's stopping in the middle like this. Would it be possible for you to send me a screenshot of the mapping window for this control as well (with the Advanced option enabled)?
  • This photo is locked/password protected.
  • It looks as though everything is set up correctly here. Would it be possible for you to enable MIDI logging in MixEmergency's MIDI window, then pushing the controls that you have mapped until the problem occurs? Then copy and paste the results of this into the discussion.

I might have to try to recreate this on my machine too over the coming days to see if I can reproduce this.

  • Thanks. Is it stepping through the list correctly up to this point?
  • yes, up and down it's fine. both on both channels, it stops at bump on the way up
  • Ok, thanks - I'm going to look into this shortly to see if I can find anything.

I've managed to reproduce and fix this issue. The fix will be in the next release. Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.
