  • Currently, for most people, it is H.264 for music videos, and HAP for short loops/samples.

  • Unfortunately it's not possible, at the moment. It's on a list of things to do, but I can't say for sure if and when it'll be added.
  • I've replied to your email regarding this.

  • I've replied to your email. All of these presets are stored within the MixEmergency folder at: ~/Movies/MixEmergency/
  • I've sent you an email. In the future, please only send a single email - as posting on our forum, Facebook, and to multiple email addresses make your issue harder to keep track of and respond to.
  • Serato Video uses a slightly different system for their Quartz Composition inputs. Because of this, it's not possible to use them with MixEmergency (depending on what the published inputs are that the composition uses).
  • The camera is not recorded when recording using MixEmergency. This is because the recording system doesn't actually record any video, so that your system is not under any strain - it only records which videos were loaded, etc.

  • You can't post the log file to the forum, but you could email it to support@inklen.com if you would like me to have a look through it for you.
  • Oops - good spotting. It looks like I forgot to update the version information in our website database.

  • It should have enough power to - though this may depend on how you set OBS up (I don't have much experience with this).
  • MixEmergency does not currently support chroma keying samples in the Sample Player. I would suggest that you edit this video in another application to remove the green screen and then export this in a format that supports alpha channels (ideally the…
  • This will reset permissions for all applications, but you might want to try this: 1) Open the Terminal application 2) Enter the following command and then push the enter/return key on your keyboard: tccutil reset Microphone I would recomme…
  • * Copy across the folder: ~/Movies/MixEmergency/ That contains most of your settings. You'll also want to make sure that any media files that you've used in the Sample Player, etc, are still at the same path on the new computer as the old com…
  • Are you certain that you're launching it from within the Applications folder?
  • Mac OS X 10.10 or higher is fine for MixEmergency.
  • The only way to do this currently, is via an NDI camera (as you can set the Media Bank to load an NDI source).
  • Currently the order of overlays is fixed, so this isn't possible. I've been looking into revamping the overlay system for a while.
  • Not really. The closest you can get would be to use MixEmergency's Media Sequencer and then run the MIDI Clock from Traktor to MixEmergency. You would, at least, be able to get ambient videos/loops synced to the beat, I think (I'm not in front of my…
  • I've replied to your support email.

  • Yes, I'm certain. I have proof in an email that you sent me last year which shows that you're using an old authorisation code that has been shared many times over. I'm sorry if you, and the 50+ other DJs who are using the same code, think that is "v…
  • Ah, yes, you're the guy using someone else's authorisation code for MixEmergency and now wanting me to spend time providing support for you... great. If you want help, buy MixEmergency here: http://www.inklen.com/mixemergency/purchase
  • Does this only occur when you transition? And does it matter which transition you're using in MixEmergency? Would it be possible for you to email me your MixEmergency log file? You can find this at the following path: ~/Movies/MixEmergency/Mix…
  • I'm not sure what you mean. MixEmergency 3.3.2 currently will work on macOS 10.10 to 10.15.
  • Hi. It sounds as though you might not have given MixEmergency permission to use the Microphone input of your computer. First, please make sure that you've copied MixEmergency into your Applications folder, and that this is where you're launching …
  • I suspect so, but I've never used one myself. The latest computers tend to have quite decent graphics processors with regards to hardware accelerated video decoding, so it should run well with 720P videos.
  • Can you please email me your MixEmergency log file? You can find this at: ~/Movies/MixEmergency/MixEmergency.log (where ~ is your user/home folder) Please also include a link to this discussion so that I know what it's in reference to.
  • Do you mean the audio portion of your mix? If so, what audio hardware (mixer/controller) are you using?
  • I've replied to your email and Facebook messages.

  • It's hard to say, to be honest. The new security features of macOS, since version 10.14, seem to be causing some problems. There are definitely patches, used in compositions, that have always caused issues. I suspect that it won't be too long until …
